The University Libraries has just added 15 more databases to our large collection of primary source materials from AM (formerly Adam Matthew Digital). Two of these are research skills modules that help introduce students to the importance and use of primary sources in the research process. Some are new modules that expand upon existing collections, such as the Mass Observation Project or the Foreign Office Files. Others cover all-new topics such as Amnesty International, the Olympic Movement, and the Royal Shakespeare Company. Taken together, they represent a substantial addition to our existing collection of primary source archive materials.
All of the collections are accessible via our A-to-Z list of databases. In addition, AM Search provides cross-database search capability across available collections. AM also offers their innovative Handwritten Text Recognition (HTR) capability to aid in reading and searching handwritten source materials.
