New Resources Acquired in FY22

Collection Management works to build unique and dynamic collections of national significance to support all areas of scholarship at Virginia Tech. We regularly assess usage and impact of our resources as we seek to maximize the value of our subscriptions and reflect emerging areas of research at the university.

 We were able to bring many of our existing resources fully up to date as well as add a wide range of new resources. In addition to specialized resources, we added several interdisciplinary ones such as the New York Times, Policy Commons, and Statista. We began to explore new models of acquiring ebooks by adding a large Evidence Based Acquisition package from JSTOR. We also prioritized resources that support online access, diversify our collections, and open access initiatives. Below is a list of the new resources acquired in FY22.
